Volunteer Training Registration 2021

All volunteers are welcome – newly registered and active volunteers who would like a refresher. Note: please email or call us if you are no longer interested in volunteering.

Please see below for details about each unique session and reserve your spot ASAP:

Training Session #1 – Weekend Welcome Program Training (Completed)
April 29, 2021 – 6:30-8:00 pm – Double Oak Barn
  • Training includes information about our Weekend Welcome Program. We are seeking volunteers to spend a few hours at our trailheads on weekends to be available to share information with hikers and answer questions about ACLT. The training will include a 1-hour (approx.) lecture followed by an orientation walk around the Double Oak Farm and North Side Trailhead.
Training Session #2 – Hiking Guide Training
SUNDAY, MAY 16TH – 1-4 PM at Double Oak Barn
  • This training is for volunteers interested in becoming hiking guides (both new and those who would like to brush up on their guide skills). The training will include a 1-hour (approx.) lecture followed by a practice hike on Turkey Trail for hands-on learning.

Future Training

  • When more live events are scheduled (onsite and offsite), we will schedule general volunteer training.
