Home / Volunteer Training 2022

TRAINING OVERVIEW

This year, we are combining our training into one session for:

  • Weekend Welcomers: Volunteers who spend a few hours at our trailheads on weekends sharing info with hikers and answering questions about ACLT
  • Hiking Guides: Volunteers who are interested in becoming hiking guides (both new and those who would like to brush up on their guide skills).
  • Anyone who represents ACLT at events or otherwise promotes ACLT in any capacity.

The training will include a 1-hour (approx.) lecture followed by a practice hike on Turkey Trail for hands-on learning.
