Trail Conditions

The lands managed by ACLT are primarily located in the area surrounded by Dares Beach road to the north, Rt. 4 to the west and Scientists Cliffs Rd. to the south. Use this link to view a map of this area on the Maptech Web site.

There are two access points to trails managed by ACLT. Trails are open to the public every day of the year from dawn to dusk. Check the trail conditions report for the latest information about trail maintenance and closings.

1. ACLT Gravatt Tract trails: Go 4 miles south on Route 2/4 from the intersection of Route 231 in Prince Frederick; left on Parkers Creek Road, cross Rt. 765 and then turn right onto Scientists' Cliffs Road; drive .8 miles to the ACLT parking lot on the left. 2. Double Oak Farm: Go 2 miles east on Dares Beach Road from the light on Route 2/4 in Prince Frederick. Turn right onto Double Oak Road and drive 1 mile. Turn left onto the lane across from open field, past house to designated parking. Use this link to see a topo map of the area from Maptech. Trail maps are available at the parking lot.
