Double Oak Farm

Double Oak FarmACLT is very proud of our volunteer run Double Oak Farm, located next to our North Side Trailhead in Prince Frederick, Maryland. More than 4500 pounds of naturally grown, fresh vegetables were donated to local Calvert County food pantries during 2015.


We also enjoyed teaching guests to grow their own healthy food! Our EDGE Garden (Educational Demonstration Garden Experiment) - which demontrates a dozen easy at home natural growing techniques among other earth friendly gardening examples - offered tours to garden clubs, school groups and farmers market visitors. In addition, it produced a cabbage the size of a basketball, a sunflower larger than a hubcap, and a 26lb sweet potato!


We look forward to 2016 and hope to see you in the garden!
