Thirty structures and cultural resources have been identified on properties owned and managed by ACLT. These comprise twenty-eight buildings and two cemeteries. Dan Sampson, former ACLT Land Manager, photographed and documented these structures in 2000.
The structures present a challenge to ACLT's financial and management
resources. Their condition ranges from excellent to poor. Only a few
buildings are in service today. The ACLT wishes to maintain the
structures that are culturally significant and those that may be of service value to the organization, and these will receive greater care and treatment. Other structures of interest will be stabilized to slow their deterioration. The greatest share of the work on the buildings will be carried out by volunteers and the ACLT invites interested persons to contact the organization about volunteer opportunities.
